In loving memory.............

Bojaco, or "Bo" as we called him. I could not say enough about this boy. I simply adored him. Thank you Dena Gustaf for this treasure. I was indeed blessed to have this lovely boy for as long as I did. His personality was beyond incredible. He loved to be loved and loved and loved and....  He was massive in his build, his head was wonderfully shaped, with nice low ears, had an awesome coat, and he was cobby enough to tuck right into a child's shoebox!  His pedigree is heavy on Anz and we were anxious to incorporate his look into our breeding program.

We tried several times to breed Bo to Daisy without sucess. Bo was a little confused and kept trying to breed the ears of our girl! We ended up nicknaming him Baby Huey, because he was so big, sweet and well.....dumb! Before giving up for a while, we tried one last time to breed him to Daisy, this time sucessfully.
We were filled with utter excitement anticipating this litter and very excited to see what these two were capable of producing. Both cats are (were) absolutley massive in body build. I couldn't wait to see what their kittens will be like.

On the morning of April 30th, two weeks after confirming Daisy's pregnancy, we suddenly lost our beloved Bo to seemingly a mild illness, where any early symptoms had been missed. After spending the day in the hospital, treated, and released for homecare, we lost him during the night. Our hearts were wrenched with sorrow over the sudden loss of this unbelievable boy. We will never again see his equal.

Not knowing that a cat can succomb to such a simple illness, we needed to find out if there was any underlying cause of his death that was missed. Upon confirmation that he had not suffered any disease that may have claimed his life, and the kittens would not be affected in any way,  Daisy's pending expectancy suddenly became very bittersweet, and yet all the more precious. As we were mourning the loss of our most precious boy, we were anticipating the arrival of his first and only offspring. She was carrying his legacy within her.

Daisy delivered two gorgeous girls in the wee hours of Cinco De Mayo (May 5th).
She presented us with a high white dominant calico (Nollie) and a high white Black/wht (Nora). Neither will be available for sale due to the loss of our beloved Bo.
His legacy will live on with these two gorgeous girls that he left behind for us to adore. I will post pictures soon.......

Thank you Lord for the two years that I had Bo. He was a treasure indeed, and we greatly miss him......
